We have so many programmers on this forum, and I have always wondered (this being a "nerd/geek" forum) why no one bothered to create one?

What are your thoughts on making an app?

I can't really contribute, aside from graphics.

I'm sure somebody did make a iPhone friendly version of the forums, but you couldn't post for obvious security reasons.

The forums are actually pretty friendly(as long as you close code snippets after looking at them) to my ipod touch compared to most websites that dont have a modile version.

True, but I guess for an App to be created, we need to have forum features

*cough* *cough*

so many threads about everything from a PM system to a friend request system...

still viewing is absolutely fine on any device when it comes to TGCF.

Yes perhaps some of our more problematic forum members will go insult each other in private... then e-mail me complaining.

Friend request system? Why would we need that?

Actually, one of the advantages of a PM system is that if someone wants to be contacted, they can do it in an environment where any malicious messages can be reported without the need to provide additional proof.
