(By geek-sculpture, I mean not electronic, and sorta fancy)

I just ran across this guy's website:
http://www.bathsheba.com

and there's some really really awesome stuff on it. Expensive, no doubt, but cool. It's a collection of 3d art. Either laser-etched glass, or 3d printed metal. I found it when I was looking for a 3d version of the quaternion julia set. Here are some of my favorites:

Now... I'm not looking to get one of these soon ($27 to $104 for the laser etched ones, and $450 for some of the mid-sized metal ones), but I'm wondering if anyone else knows of a site that sells awesome 3d sculptures like this? Or nerd/math sculptures in general?

I always wondered how they got those artistic sculptures inside a block of glass and now I know. They look pretty amazing.

What's the sculpture of in the second last photo?

From top to bottom, it's 2 pictures of the sloan survey (pictured is a VERY big map of the location of known matter in the universe [not galaxy]), magnetic field lines of the earth, the DNA molecule, and the one you're talking about is the one I found the site because of. (the second to last and last are of the same object)

It's a 3d projection of a 4d julia set. The same thing I was doing in my 4d renderer thing (http://www.neurofuzzydev.com/img/fract/4djulia.gif), and the same thing that shows up if you type in "4d julia set" to google images. It's the 4d equivalent of this thing: http://facstaff.unca.edu/mcmcclur/java/Julia/ (actually, if you took that shape, and only took into account shapes on the complex plane, you would get a shape identical to one produceable by the java applet)

...and I like it a lot! I wanna get it for christmas :3

That's far above my mathematics level but looks spectacular. Amazing what mathematics can look like, especially when it has been etched in glass.

I know what you mean, I'd also like to have it sitting on my desk

You didn't show the Milky Way, I think that's the coolest, imagine having a galaxy on your desk trapped in a small cube! Mwahahaha!
Great find!

PS Who else thought "Bethesda? Is this a joke? Oh no wait!"

A motorcycle made of harddrive parts is a real geeky sculpture!
