I have a few old harddrives laying around and have been thinking about what to do with them. The site above seems to have plenty of ideas.

I took apart a 320gb sata seagate this morning (because seagate RMA is apparently worthless) and I keep looking at pics of the harddrive motorcycle. I just don't see the pieces coming together. His bike has parts my harddrive doesn't have. I do have an old 1GB harddrive in a server sitting in my mom's basement, it's about 4" thick. I bet that might have some interesting pieces inside.
