Hi everyone!

You probably have a daily routine on TGC where you go through different boards and click on different threads... My daily routine is the following (in this order):

-DarkBASIC Professional discussion
-DarkBASIC discussion
-Newcomers DBPro corner
-Programm Announcements
-Work in Progress
-Geek Culture

Which boards do you visit?

I'm doing this to get an idea of where most people are on this forum.

Geek Culture only. When I'm working on DBP projects though, I start visiting Darkbasic pro, WIP and proggy announcements.

Am I the only person who actually looks on the FPSC Bug Reports? xD

Sorry all for my furious departure a while ago (well, almost 8 months xD) after deep thought I have decided to return.

I apologise to those I offended.

Geek Culture...because the FPSC forums bore me now. Two years have passed since I last entered those wastes, and it's still mainly "I can haz free gunz prlz?"

I saw the title of this thread and thought, "Seriously?! Get a life!" I mean, we can already see (as if we'd need to) how many views each board gets.

</rant>

No offense. I post this kind of stuff sometimes too. It's just...well, yeah. That's all.

Go outside.

And by posting here you've proven that you also are not outside and are posting on this forum too...thereby making you equal to us.

I grew up on the DBC boards, but for a long time now our people have been ravaged by the great post-ato famine and so I have been forced to emigrate. First I journeyed to the Game Design board but I could not find any work , so I left for Geek Culture where I have found a cushy government job. I plan to move into DBP one day when I have saved enough money to buy a new PC.

I usually only look at this (in this order).

DarkBASIC Professional Discussion
Newcomers DBPro Corner
2D All the way!
Geek Culture

I used to go to "DarkBASIC Discussion" too but since I came back (after a year absence I think) I decided to keep away from Darkbasic Classic. When I'm board I go to "Program Announcements" and "Work in Progress" to see what cool programs you guys are working on.

Yes, but the big question is WHO visits the boards. A board counter can't say that...

Also, tell me more about this... outside... Is it eatable?

The outside is some myth about a place where humans, in person , go and do what is called 'socialising'. Very strange and completely unreal. I hear there are also things called the 'Sun' and 'nature' there aswell, don't get me to even try explaining those.

and...
Do you think the outside will be able to compete with MW3 and Battlefield3? It had better have some innovative developers to catch the public's eye. It sounds like it's chat system is obsolete though.

DBP
DBC

O no, the outside world is most comparable to DBP I hear. You have the flexibility to do whatever you want, great shaders, and a bunch of boring people to talk to things about I also hear they use some crazy algorithms and such so everything is amazingly high poly.

What's cool about the outside is that it still has way better car physics than any racing game I've ever played. Crashing is more realistic too.

I think it uses Tessellation.

No, that's impossible. It runs too smoothly! And the view distance is incredible.

I thought it was part of the skybox

Apparently the people out there can talk to you about anything! This 'outside' is fantastic .

Geek Culture and WiP boards for the most part. I go to the DBP discussion board when I'm working on projects or looking for help.

3d Chat was a hangout for me a few years back but I'm not as into it as I was.
