I could have sworn I saw that at some point AppGameKit was going to support HTML. I cannot find that now, and am now wondering if/when the support will happen, and if it will be HTML5.

Thanks!

I am personally hoping it supports HTML5 combined with something like WebGL (the HTML5 arcade games I have seen are slower when compared to other arcade games on other platforms and WebGL would fix this).

I would also like to see the player used in Tier 1 being ported as a browser plugin to give Tier 1 users an easy way to deploy to the web.

There is going to be some format of a web version it is mentioned in this video here:

I am hoping it is either Flash or WebGL or both. HTML5 is a waste at this point, it's going to be a long time until HTML5 is viable for gaming, it's too slow and not very useful as far as features.

App Game Kit (A.G.K.) - Want to be creative on many platforms at once? This is the tool you need.

We agree, HTML5 isn't up to speed yet. This is all phase 2 stuff for AGK. Let us get phase one out, then we will have a review of where we are and argue within the team as to how we progress next. We will of course ask the community what they feel is important before we march off developing.

HTML5 is the next big thing. With Facebook supporting it and Microsoft Supporting it for Apps under Windows 8, I don't think it's a matter of talking about it but a matter of just implementing it.

Granny said ... "it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it."

Yeah, they both agreed with Granny.

Seriously though, any web support will be great.
I just want to sling a few variables to a server sided PHP script for a leaderboard system.
That would really be handy for single player games.
