These days? Movies have used contrast to make the picture more interesting and better for a long time, not sure that's a recent fad .

It was meant to be...sarcastic. It's not bad, I just think contrast is something you must use in generous amounts. I'm more into color correction myself.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.
