Hi all,

I am trying to set up a stream for my friends where I stream a lot of different content.
I am trying to find a free scheduling system, so I can schedule movies etc., and overlay text, time, "Next up" and so on.
I'd also like an "idle" video, so when nothing is playing the "idle" video plays.

I know livestream has this system, but I don't like to use it since you have to upload all the content to them in order to use it.

Is there anyone who knows something like this? Or maybe a media player which supports this?

Thanks!!

Jeff

I'm gonna be streaming some of this and that, mainly game footage and things like news (and a bit of our own news, we have some sort of clan consisting of close friends).

I'm not sure about all of that in 1 piece of software. VLC supports streaming, and you could setup a windows schdeule to run VLC with a specific url so that VLC starts with the selected playlist in the url.

Not sure if that will work, but it's definitely worth a shot. VLC is free...and awesome!

My name is Brian.

Yep, VLC is awesome. But not for what I want. The playlist option is too simple, shamefully.
