Wow, alot has changed since I last was an active member on apollo! I remember I used to spend hours a day either coding in DBPro or burning time reading the numerous posts found in Geek Culture. Unfortunately (Or Maybe Not?
) I managed to break away (for the most part) a few years back and developed some social skills (as much as any code-monkey can, anyway), went through highschool, and now I work a Full Time job as a Network Administrator.
Those of you in IT know that aside from the daily backups, maintenance, and John Smith Flooding the print queue, you find yourself with alittle down time here and there. I had been wanting to get back into coding for a while, specifcally for apps. So the other day while looking over app development I spotted the AppGameKit and I was absolutely floored!
Today was payday so I'll be preordering it tonight...can't wait to get back to sleepless nights hunched over my keyboard banging out code while eating highly processed foods and ingesting large amounts of caffeine. And of course, Im glad to be back on Apollo again. I only wonder how many other people from when I was active got away for a while, and who made it back?
