my idea is to cover the area where i need it to be reinforced with a layer of Epoxy glue with a layer or 2 of s inside. that should keep the crap plastic from bending under small amount of stress. (i was also thinking of gluing a piece of aluminium as well but i dont know yet.) So i am just wondering. does anyone have any other good ideas on reinfocing plastic (angle). maybe instead of bandages i could put some other stronger material in the layer of epoxy. Also i have limited tiny space with this thing so unless there is a better idea than mine so id like to keep this plastic reinforcement operation small.
so anyone have any other good ideas that can help me, i am all ears.
I was gonna buy epoxy glue today but its sunday and the hardware store is already closed, so i cant buy epoxy glue till tomorrow morning.

my main objective is to keep it from bending. i would need some stirdy large wires for that method. But maybe, i can melt more plastic and ass a layer. that might be a good idea

You could get some plastic tube, an old pen would even do - cut at each end at 45 degrees, then glue that in to reinforce corners.

I think the post would start better with:
"I'm trying to fix/reinforce my #Insert name here#"

Because, reading through your post, I haven't the foggiest idea what object you're talking about reinforcing

I'm a brand now

Not sure what your'e trying to do, but could you put in little plastic support struts? That would stop it from bending without having to use a lot of material.

its a piece of a notebook particularly where hinges are attached to the case, but the design is so bad that hinges are not reinforced and are just attached to the crappy bendy plastic, as a result, opening and closing the laptop bends the plastic at spots where hinges are attached and over time it will wear out and crak. Thats a more basic explanation i guess. so as not to cluttter peoples brains, i just stripped it down to the core problem which is bendy bad quality plastic, needs to be reinforced to keep from bending. And so far epoxy along with maybe some other materials like small pieces of plastic or aluminium.

and now my friend told me of another thing i should watch for as epoxy contains toxic cancer causing substance known felonom oe fenom. apperentley its in tiny harmless quantities in every plastic thing out there, but epoxy has a lot of that stuff and he says its a bad idea to use it inside of the notebook since the heat from it will cause microscopic particles of felonom to evaporate and its a serios risk to my health. i searched the internet looking for clear evedince of this and didnt find anything. so i dont know if what my friend tells me is bs or not. but i dont know of a better alternative than epoxy so far. besides i used epoxy often from time to time and i am sure i exposed myself to a lot more harmful stuff and using epoxy wont make any difference to me. (i live next to a nuclear reactor facility so really? epoxy?)
