Okay, I just got bored, so I went to page 453 of this board, and the first 30 something topics are all dated 31st Dec 1969 19:00! They have no name of who last posted, no posts, and you can't go into them! What's up with that!? I checked other boards, like the DBPro board, and they say the same thing on their last page! Does anyone know why?

I did that, too. Most likely Indicium is right. Because there's one of the users on here that have recently posted and it says that they made one of those 1970 threads.

Might be left over threads from the internal beta testing, way back in the DBDN days.

Well the starting time for Unix is 1st Jan 1970 (http://unixepoch.com/) so it might be something to do with that, or if I was beta testing something I would use dates so old that no-one would notice. ie. an easy way to go un-noticed on a live system when testing stuff out.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

It's caused by a deleted account.

Yes, deleting an account causes a glitch in the matrix and any posts by the deleted account must be sent back to a folder at the source. After so many deleted accounts, the folder overflows and begins to leak back into the forum at the beginning. This is why the forum must be deleted and started over every so often. It's inevitable.

The time is near people, but have no fear. You will not notice the transition and when complete, you will not remember the previous forum. It will be as if you've always been on it, just the as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now as now.......

Sorry.

Ok... Well, that's awfully strange. I've never heard of folders leaking back into a forum. Strange. Haha. Well, anyway, thanks, just thought I would ask.
