I am naturally curly, and I am thinking of getting it straightened for a party, because I want to go formal, with a waistcoat, tie, shirt and trousers. I reckon it will look better than curly.

Does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to get done?

Also, view your own hair styles if you want.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, buy a pair of broken GHDs off eBay and fix'em up. Straighten your hair for the event, and sell them as fully working when you're done.

Win.

You can get a cheap straightener/flat iron for under $20 and just do it yourself. It's pretty simple.

I would shave it, but I want some style for this night out. So I went to the barbers and got it trimmed and waxed XD.

God i need my hair cut again. In style it rests just above my eyebrows. If i ever straightened it, it'd be past my nose and the sides near my shoulder. Luckily it falls into place after a shower ;3

Buy straighteners or go to the barbers if its a one off.

I do not mean to boast... but I get my hair done for free at the barbers >.< ahh the beauty of doing business {literally}

For an idea as to why click my banner below and make your way to my computer devision.... click the link to see the computer sector website... click map or contact us if on a mobile device and then click the location icon in the google map and my new shop is within that shop I will be posting up a 3D view of the shop layout soon on my web-site...

If anyone is in the area he does cheap cuts anyway and is very good at styling. I always go to him for styling up before I go to special occasions.

{and if you do go dont say I said anything }

The last time I had a haircut was...2008 I think, basically when I decided I'd kill my dreadlocks and it was heart breaking, I've not even had it trimmed since. So my hair is long, and very curly, so it's a nightmare to keep tidy, heck brushing it is difficult (but Lush conditioner is awesome, yes i'm such a girl) so when I'm going formal it seems a ponytail is the best way to go particularly to a job interview. Last formal night out drinking I went to was back when I had dreads and the bouncer wouldn't let me in until he stopped mocking me for wearing a bandana with a suit (it was how I kept my dreads tidy). I prefer clubs/parties where I'm welcome to be a scruff, like the dive in Derby I frequented, which sadly no longer exists First Floor was a legendary metal club.

When I was a kid though, my hair was always really short, I was 16 when I though I'd grow it, despite having an ex-hairdresser for a mum who always did it for free.

I'll do it for free if you like?
Of course, you'll need to pay the trip to come over here in Belgium.

I used to have long hair, and very curly too. Actually, when I pulled my hair down, it was much longer than it looked. Hehehhehe.

Heheheh, there's nothing wrong with being proud of how you look.

I could never step inside Lush, everytime I walk past the place the smell just makes me heave, I prefer to make my mum buy my stuff when she goes into town on her own, thats worse
