Not quite a Jedi... More Dark Lord of the Sith...

How is everyone it's been a while I've been totally consumed with that thing called reality, it's amazing what's happened though since I joined here. I've been studying 'real' programming OO and all that jazz, still suck at programming but I'm a trouper

Also working in IT Consulting now so getting some hands on experience with the actual IT industry which is interesting... Still couldn't forget my roots though DBpro started it all for me so how many people that I know are still here? I think there's a list in my profile description. I still see VanB (Isn't he due for ancient grandfather status yet? ) and some other familiars.

Anyway re-loading DBpro onto my computer, it's been a while though but I'm looking forward to getting back into the basics also beginning an intensive personal art course, need to hone those all important artsy skills!

It's good to be back

Good to see you back.

Yup, most of my meals are soup, and I sleep for 18 hours a day

Meh. I fondly remember the days when my soup came in a bowl and I only slept for 18 hours a day.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

There's a familiar face! How are you Dazzag? You still have the same signature... That's one long bed sitting...

Afternoon. I'm fine. Moved country. Moved back. Got married etc etc. Usual story...

Yep, must change it one day since the series it came from has been off the air since 2004.

Cheers

It's probably not familiar because I bought DBP around 2-3 years before I really started using it and being active on the forums. It just sat there for a while until one day I thought, "You know what, I think I'll have another go at making games!"

I definitely count as an oldie though, age wise

I know you, though you probably don't know me because I was useless back when you were around (probably still am ). As to your question:

Quote: "TDK man (What does TDK stand for?)"

TDK (Tōkyō Denki Kagaku) is a Japanese company founded in December 1935 by Yogoro Katō that sells ferrite cores. They became highly recognized during the 1980s and 1990s by producing and selling cassettes and other analog storage media. Recently they also started selling digital storage media such as DVDs, CDs, and also sell other electronic equipment. Today they are a leading company in storage devices.

Why TDK_man called himself TDK and used the logo from that company is still shrouded in mystery.

Welcome back!

I only trust TDK tapes. In fact I recently bought a bunch for a friend of mine that records his own music.

I do remember you Grog and TheComet your names and avatars are very familiar, and now I have a reason to add you both to my list

I had a feeling it was to do with the cassette company but I never recognised the logo! Now all I need to know is why he choose TDK_Man as a name then my life will be complete!

Hey Vader! I remember around the time when you joined and picked your avatar... and many were saying "Darth Vader" is Lee's alter-self. You held your own though. I just returned here myself after a 2 1/2 leave.

Your signature has been erased by a mod please reduce it to 600 x 120.
