It's been a very long time since I've come to this site (Jan 2009). Great to see some old familiar faces...Avatars...UserID's that I've come to know from as far back as 2003. (Yikes!!!). Nice to see the energy and work of new users here, as well as all the new innovative products and updates. It's quite daunting to take it all in at once. A lot has changed, but from what I can see so far, the spirit and enthusiam is as good as it has always been.

So hello to old and new alike!!!

I wasn't around in your day but...... Hi! just missed ya didn't I? Haha

My Mind is very odd, it can memorize hundreds of commands, memorize 2 dictionary's worth of words, and make detailed 3D models. Yet my mind has trouble with the most simple calculations.

I never posted a farewell message or anything. A lot of things were changing in my life at the time and I found myself wanting to regain the joy of playing games rather than the frustration I felt in my not so great attempt at making them. I stuck around a lot longer just for the community more than firing up an editor and doing anything. I spent way too much time lurking around here browsing every post, and it became something akin to an addiction. So I tipped out the door.

The last 2 years I had a Ubuntu Linux only installation. When the time felt right, I decided to get windows 7 a week ago and try my hand at coding again. Not sure where it will go.

Same here. Before the "new" forums I was like a top 3 poster. Was totally like an addiction. I wandered off for a few years and since then just pop in for the odd moment to make weird comments
