D-Day tomorrow - how many more folks here are in the same boat?

Need AAA for Electronic Engineering at Southampton. I'm predicted A*A*B, but I'm not sure I'll get that exactly (hopefully something like AAA). I also need ABB for my insurance - Audio Systems Engineering at Queen Mary London. I'm kind of annoyed because not all my exams went as well as various mocks I did (I'm looking at you maths), so it's completely up in the air as to what I've gotten.

I'm s******g bricks at the moment, definitely not looking forward to tomorrow! Anywho, best of luck to anyone else out there - keep us posted!

Good Luck man. I'm waiting on most of my GCSE results next week, but I also did C1 maths, so I'm getting the results tomorrow. I have a chance to do it again, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm in the same boat I need A*AA in physics, maths and futher maths, with the A* being in physics or further maths to do computer science at Trinity College, Cambridge. I'm afraid I might have missed the A* in further maths but I think the physics exam went well so... I know I've got at least an A in normal maths because I already have the results for the modules I did in January.

I did chemistry and computing A levels as well but they were excluded from the offer...

If pots and pans were "if"s and "and"s there would be no work for programmer's hands...

Good luck with your results, I'm Scottish so I just finished my highers, managed to get what I needed for uni (AAABB) and I hope you lot manage the same.
It was definitely a long wait for me throughout July, good luck.

A word of support. I screwed up my A levels by basically never turning up (I discovered music, drinking, smoking, cars and no good women ). Got B,D,E. Ended up going to Bournemouth Uni (originally was going to Southampton), had the time of my life, got a First, then walked into a job with IBM (arguably one of the best companies a software engineer can join after uni).

It's important to do your best, but if you don't get the grades, IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER. There are lots of alternative courses and paths, and only the most hardcore of positions (e.g. lead scientist at hardcore mega cutting edge robotics company) care about which uni you went to. The remaining mortal jobs care about you having a good degree result and they care about your character and personality. Where you got the degree from is far less important.

Good luck with your results!

I flunked my maths, bit annoyed about that! Got into my second choice though so I'm pretty chuffed - I'd rather be doing Audio Systems Engineering anyways

Congratulations Diggsey

Congratz Diggsey never realised you were still at school seem so much older

Got my AS results today pretty happy with my results

Maths - A
Physics - C ( failed one exam and got an A on the other)
PE - C (lost 30% before i started due to not being able to do the practical exam after a knee operation)
History - E

Really wish id took something more useful than History, teachers were saying i should do a written subject cus the others are more technical, but half way through the year i was expecting to fail

Im anyway, my course i need BBB so im a bit below that at the minute so lots of work for next year, but atleast i wont lose out so many marks in PE next year
