Lets face it, many of us are spending 8 hours a day at our machines. Personally I want to invest in some ergonomic equipment(everything from the chair, proper desk height, to the mouse). Anyone have any recommendations on mouse's, keyboards, and other equipment that you use at your desk space that just makes life easier?

I have recently started using a stylus as a mouse, and I find that has been easier on my hands over long term use.

A good chair, I used to have one of those cheapy plastic ones that turn, it broke and I did not get a new one. I have a heater right next to me and sorta lie down on my chair and put my legs on it. You would not believe how much my back hurt. Then I got a Leather office style chair made out of metal, and it just feels so much better.

My plan for today: 1. Wake up. 2. Live 3. Go to sleep.

Good suggestion, I will invest in a good office chair. The one's I had at work even had adjustable arm rests(up, down, and three settings left or right).

If noise is not a big concern, I would recommend a Razer Blackwidow microswitched keyboard. So much better for fast typing, easier on the fingers and nostalgic as hell .

Get the lighting right around your monitor to protect those peepers. Perhaps some spot lights or the right desk lamp, to keep the glare off your eyes but stop the monitor glaring at you!

Reminds me ... My dad has an old compo chair for me in his garage, and mine is currently falling apart (foam visible in seat from too much ass abrasion!). I must go and pick that up.
