So, just this past week, it's been bothering me that one day I'm going to die. Face it, we're all going to die some day, no matter what.

So, what are some things you want to do before you die? Keep religion out of this to prevent flame wars.

For starters, I'd like to have a family of my own, you know, wife and kids.

I've already done what I wanted to do before I died, and that was to do a solo, static line parachute jump, in fact, I did 2! I may lack ambition, but I can't think of anyway to top that! I guess the next thing to try would be a bungie jump?

Apart from that, I already have a wife and kids, so the rest of my life is devoted to them

A threesome with two of the hottest playmates and try LSD...

Haha, just kidding.

But honestly, I've had this idea:
I'm a passionate skateboarder and I'd like to travel around the world for some time and take some video footage doing freestyle tricks in famous and impressive places, then put it all together with my favorite songs of all time to create a documentation. And who is going to film it all and travel with me? My perfect wife - that I still have to find
That would be awesome.

Become more exciting. I think I'm pretty lame. I wanna have an adventure. Fight for something or be someone to be looked up to.

I wanna do it all with my girlfriend and spend the rest of my days with her.

Discover a way to extend lifetime so that I could live to see the expeditions to mars.. Or something like that. Living through the turn of the century wasn't a big enough milestone for me.

Well, not really.

I do love music, and I produce my own music.. So I probably want to make a name for myself doing what I love. And get paid for it.

Travel pretty much everywhere
Meeting the love of my live
fly an airplane
bungee jumping
being in a forbidden romance with a persian princess
kicking an awful politician in the face while a live newsbroadcast is running
spending a year in a buddhist temple in tibet
having children and raising them
saving a country from oppression
saving someones live
having fun
and becoming a legend.

...and then to die gracefully.

Well... a lot of this will likely never happen...but you can't say for sure. Its all an illusion anyway, so enjoy your ride!!

Just before? Have a ciggie. I gave up 8 years ago, but if I know for definite I am on my last day then I wouldn't mind having one last one.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned making a best selling game and becoming a gaming God/Legend. Or taking over EA and then making all the back stock freeware. Or the very least knocking out an award winning novel...

Cheers

> Making a trip to Japan and perhaps even stay there for a longer time period.

> Bungee jumping

> Parachuting

> Visiting Chernobyl and make some beautiful photos of that lifeless town

> Playing guitar and singing in front of an audience that even wants to listen

> Finish a game project

> Climb a mountain

> Running across a popular shopping promenade without wearing any clothes - although that will wait until I'm a senior and can blame it on Alzheimers... it's just one of those things that every (insane) man should probably have done once in his lifetime.

> Travel the world with just a Motorcycle, Van, or whatever; get to know the culture, see places far from the other "tourists" and get to know the "everyday-life" of the citizens.

But I'm pretty sure that I missed some things here and there... I'd probably be best off to include "Starting to write a diary" somewhere in this list.

... I'm pretty sure that I'll actually manage to pull all of these off during my lfetime, except for #6.

I will go with the goals that are actually possible:

1.Make a band and master guitar
2.Finally finish a good FPSC project
3.Win a cup/LAN party
4.Finally own the top PC

Nice. Best thing said yet. Is well hard to do this. Seriously in decades I've only managed it a handful of times. I have (had) a large collection of impressive (sort of, and only at the time) tech demos that may have beens... Now though with the incentive of wasting money on hardware I've managed to knock one or two things out on some mobile devices.

Quote: "Starting to write a diary"
Yeah, that reminds me to do a video diary. Thought it would be nice for the wife just incase etc. Other stuff seems to be more interesting and get in the way though...

I know. I have more screens than a Star Trek fan's wet dream, but am quite subtle about. I hide it with a wife and pretending to like normal things like garden ornaments. Secretly though my beard hides my Star Wars face tattoos.

Heh, seriously though my wife insists on the beard because she loves that Rykher (sp?) bloke from TNG. She even had Trek merchandise when she was a kid and stuff. Gotta love it... And no it isn't that freaky paper company bird from that Trekkie film. Although she does work in a paint company...

Man, I really couldn't care less about that! Perhaps many others feel the same? I would happily swap that for the money without the kudos. I only develop games as a creative outlet for myself, and more importantly now to make cash. The fact people enjoy them only concerns me so long as it encourages them to furnish me with their gold.

My only interesting (to others) goal is probably my aim to get into amateur motor racing. I really want to get some money together and build my own car to enter some sort of saloon privateer racing category. I don't have any delusions of skill and would happily rank down the bottom of the grid, but I just really want to experience the true thrill of competitive motor racing, rather than just go-karting and caning it down the M3 with a paranoid eye on the rear view mirror.

Apparently driving a car up Snowdon is a popular one.

Be able to afford to buy a house ranks quite high on my list at the moment.

On-topic.

Make a successful game.
Get a job
Pass GCSE's
Go to college and university
Be rich.

My plan for today: 1. Wake up. 2. Live 3. Go to sleep.

I already am... it didn't change much for me. It even took the excitment away of being able to do certain things after you where spending a few months saving for it.

I don't touch my wealth often tough. Just to pay my bills. Its lying around on the bank and it gets more and more without me doing anything. The system is sick and I hate to be part of it. On the other hand, one day I might need it?

Some of us have already been successful there

Things on my bucket list.... Hmmm....
Well I wouldn't mind graduating from college lol.
Be smart enough to make a video game, and then actually make a game.

But probably the most important thing to me is getting a book published. I love writing, always have.

oh.. seems like i have been silly on the pony thread then

Take care of my daughter, protect her, all that normal bullcrap..
its not like that part ISNT obvious already: my daughter is the most wonderfull and valuable "thing" that i will ever have.

And regarding women, well: i have recently had a girlfriend (a year ago), and... well, i dont feel the <need> to find another woman: i have produced a daughter alrady, its not like i need anymore love than that. So basicly: i take it cool in that aspect and just wait. Iam not in a hurry and I dont think sex is that big of a deal lol...

and for the record, I am a man.

Already reached that milestone They had playboy potential too.

Moving on;

Be completely covered in fire.
Not in Ow ow omfg im burning alive, more oh so very warm and pretty. Its more of a step up from having my whole arm set on fire with Heptane. Was actually done by accident when i knocked a bottle of it on my arm, (didnt know what it was), then going back to the bonfire. Of course the rest played out like a comedy sketch with me running around like a possessed manic chasing my friends flailing my arm at them. Then realising that the fire was moving further up my arm, then them chasing me with the water bucket.

Fly, pretty straight forward jump out of a plane with a glide suit on. Get a pretty good air time out of it.

On that note, weightlessness. Who doesn't want to try that?

Get my crap together and write/finish a running book I've been lazily writing over the years.

Make a few short successful animation films. Then a larger one based on my rambling's in my book.

I do have a bucket list of 80(done 6) things i want to do around but meh there mine ;P These are just a few prominent one's.

Also why would anyone want sex fantasies on there bucket list? I mean, even if by some godforsaken reason you strike out, you can always pay. Personally I don't ever plan on paying for strange, defeats the chase and so the fun

I want to build myself a Tumbleweed house and live in it before I die. I'd add solar panels and stay off the grid as much as possible.
