I'm looking for a good VB reference on Networking/Connecting to a server list or LAN list style connection. Books links or code would be great if someone has suggestions. The MSDN seems to be all over the place on the topic. So far Ive came up with Winsock style network connection but not sure how well that will work out code wise or if it would even work at all.

Personally all my VB books are normally collecting dust. And I have a few. Normally anything I need I can get from [href]www.planet-source-code.com[/href]. Brilliant site. [href]www.vbaccelerator.com[/href] is also pretty good.

Cheers[

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

The last time I posted something about C in the programming forum, my thread was locked because it didn't have anything to do with DarkBASIC... Then I was advised to post it on the off-topic board

Can you link me to that? When you post in the programming forum there's a drop-down to select the language, so obviously the mod who locked it was probably mistaken or half-asleep (or both ). Anyways, the WIP and Program Announcements are for TGC-only games, but the Programmers section is for any language.
