Hey everyone!


I'm finally back, I've been in Berlin for 1 week, that's also why I haven't posted anything in my other thread, the "Open Source Shooter". Anyway, I was inspired to make an Asteroids remake after playing the original Asteroids on the Atari from 1979 at a museum in Berlin. I've been working on this for 1 week, and here it is. Only thing left to do is online mode, and to create an online high score board.

This project will be open sourced once completed.

Player 1
-->U = Left
-->I = Right
-->O = Fire
-->P = Move
-->Ü = Warp (the button to the right of P)

Can everyone that plays this please help me find a bug. I have not been able to reproduce it yet, so the info I can give you is quite vague. It only occurs in multiplayer. When you shoot the last asteroid, you won't proceed to the next level. When this happens, you will explode if you go to the top right corner of the screen.

If you happen to see this, hit F1 to make the collision lines visible and post me a screen shot. Thanks

@ Darkzombies - Can you still warp with that button? The German keyboard has a ü there, but it should still work with other keyboards.

No replies anyone? Does this game really suck that bad?

Anyway I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with an online scoreboard for this game? I'm a newbie in that area, any help from anyone would be awesome!

Don't be disheartened, it's a great game!!

I would look at mr_d's online scoreboard if I were you, it's only $5. It's easy to impliment apparently but I haven't used it. My own method has a lot of shortcomings.
