I am releasing my second AppGameKit game free for the PC, so consider the PC version as a demo and try it out. (phones later for a small fee)

The installer is attached to this post as a ZIP file, so download it, unzip it, then run it to install the game.

Here are the screenshots of the instructions.
I conjured a spirit to help me with these rules, so blame Akhenaten if you don't like it.

Ok, first off i like the game. Nice graphics (ok the help menu could have some better ones but it's ok) i like the dark setting that surrounds it.

The game itself is fine but if i'm honest i'm prolly gonna play it 5 times and then its done for me cause it's a bit the same all the time. The ai is pretty good, but i have noticed some foolish moves from Lee.

Overal ok game, only the replay value is a bit low for me.

I'll be honest, the fact that it has an installer has put me off. My personal opinion is that small games should really just be unzip and play, and then delete the folder when you're done.

Thanks!
I'm glad you like it.

Yeah, that is common in board and card games.
Unless you enjoy the genre, then the replay value will be low.
I take it that you are more of an action gamer, like shooters, etc.
I think it has more replay value than tic-tac-toe, so it should be alright.
A multi-player version will make the replay value better too, especially if chat is built in.

LOL
Maybe he is too busy coding AppGameKit to give his full attention to the game.
Just be glad he can multitask, and was nice enough to play with you while he was working.

By using an installer, I can create a short cut on the desktop and all those other things that lazy users (like me) want.
Your method is fine if you don't mine sharing your media. (try running the EXE without the media folder)
Packing the game and its assets helps to protect the media.
While this method may not be 100% secure, it still thwarts off any non-technical pirates.
Also, this particular packer has a nice little menu for launching the game.
So, it saves me the trouble of having to code a re-play option in the game itself.

So the thread won't get locked for being old, and to move it up in case someone missed it the first time around.
Same as any bump.

Quote: " No news?"

No news, but the was just to let you know I was bumping so the thread wouldn't die.
