Hey all,

Lee & Rick from TGC were in San Francisco last week for an Intel conference, and I met up with them for food and many drinks! David T, a fellow mod here, coincidentally was in town as well and met up with us too! It was great meeting people from this forum, and it was very interesting picking Lee's brain for hours about the future of AppGameKit and programming in general. They were all friendly and down-to-earth!

We took a few pics toward the end of the night:

EDIT:

The pic is really big, I'll resize them tonight and re-upload it

Now why doesn't it surprise me that drink was involved! I must dig out my photos of Lee and Mike obscured by many, many empty beer glasses

A computer programmer is a machine for converting beer into binary.

Or:

Here's the pic. It's not that great because in the camera viewfinder window it was pitch dark until the flash happened. It was a fun night

Anyone else find that tiny painting on that large wall to be quite odd? It's like me framing a postage stamp, and placing as the focal point of my living room.

I guess desperate times call for desperate measures

I was going to say something about it being a picture of a picture but now that you mention it, it does look like a stamp.

You guys enjoy your beer... I need my coffee!!!

Lee,Rick!!! When are you guys planning another urm conference? like the 2008 one you did on the DGS DVD... MAKE IT IN MANCHESTER!!! [not because I live here >.< just because it will be easier for me haha] but seriously I would love to as well as i guess other TGC ware users would love another chance to pick your thoughts and minds for a couple of hours before a beer fest style night, dont worry, there are trains to every part of town, or i can book cheaper hotel rooms for you, Always knew that part time job at the Palace Hotel would come in handy

Eitherway if they dont read this, Nice one Jeku thanks for sharing!
