Well the font is a bit broken up. It sort of blends in with the blue as well.

I think you guys maybe be a little to criical here. I think it looks fairly nice for a begainner logo. I think you just need to work on your shading of letters/font. But looks pretty good so far.

Pro Tip #1 - 'Impact' is not a highly regarded font and should be avoided.

Typography is a serious topic in modern graphic design. I'm not a typographic genius myself, but there are lots of articles online on the subject.

keep up the good work and keep practicing. A great way to learn logo design is to sign up at 99designs.com. You'll see what it's all about when you get there!

Thanks for the advice! The Impact Font is only a place holder until i find a more suitable font online to suit my needs.

And i will most certainly visit the site!

I have heard somehting that you should use no more than 2 (or 3) different fonts at the sime time.
That way it gets more union.

Dink: Typography is literally the worst thing I have ever had to research. Doing any design with text in it almost requires a perfect knowledge of type, something that is extremely boring. Sure, some people have an eye for this type of thing and take to it very naturally but I'm going to make every excuse I can just to avoid it in future.
