Does your mind ever wander off on strange tangents, and you start forming weird and wonderful theories and inventing odd things? Of course you do!
Please share your interesting thoughts, theories and tricks you've figured out. You might not understand what I mean so here are a few examples from my own brain ramblings.

Third Spotting
Add the digits of any number together, repeat the process on the result until it is a single digit number. If the final result is 3, 6 or 9 the original number is divisible by 3.

99 Fingers
Did you know you can count up to 99 just using your fingers?
Both hands can represent 0-9 independently: zero is obviously your closed hand and the first five digits are counted in the usual way by raising your digits starting at your thumb and working across the hand to your little finger. To represent 6-9 fold down your digits in the same order, working from thumb to little finger (which sets you back to zero). Now using one hand to represent units and the other tens, you can count up to 99!

I can count up to 1023 on my fingers by using binary...

Seeing as this is taught in elementary school... I highly doubt that you personally came up with this. Though maybe you did and you have just been out of the loop for this long.

The only Nerdy Daydreaming I ever have is thinking about killing locust in Gears of War 3 while in my Geometry class.

I often day dream about code I have yet to write. Or look around and think "that'd be good for a texture" while looking at a cardboard box or brick wall or something.

That just about sums up my entire school day / Good method to keep yourself motivated and ready to code when you get home though!

I daydream about my fiancee and our future.

I also often daydream about what I am going to accomplish with the games that I make and endeavors I follow... Also various mathematical algoirthms (i.e. how to get the intersection between two planes/polys). The same goes for some linguistics (japanese, chinese, etc).

I also daydream about getting the guns/weapons I want.

Oh, and I remember one day I was just focusing on finishing LBA 1 and then worked on my game... Lo and behold... I had an actual dream where I was polygonized like that... along with everyone around me.

I also had a dream one time where I saw high-speed trains that sat under a railing that connected circular structures the train went through and acquired acceleration through it... maybe a supermagnetic kind of system? =)

It's 2047 (2^11-1) isn't it? So yeah that's pretty neat

nope. 10 fingers @ 2 states per finger = 1024 combinations (0-1023=1024 possible numbers)

I have tried and tried and tried again... But I keep only getting to 10 when I count my fingers.

The first number is no fingers, ie. zero.

I look around the forum and try to think of all the better ways I could be spending my time.

I can't think of any right now.

Was slowly losing interest in the thread until this post. I do this far too often...
