Hi everyone, and welcome to my official MineCraft Time Lapse server where we lapse time, and most importantly, where we build awesome things.

What I have in mind

Every week I'll open the server for everyone to build on one huge spectacular project. The project is given a few guidelines, and is coordinated a bit in MineCraft, but most of the time you are free to build how you want, as long as it fits the style of the project. Building times are always from Friday 18:00 CET until Sunday 18:00 CET, and the entire thing is recorded from different perspectives. Once completed, I compile the 2-day video into ~8 minutes, add some cool music and upload it to youtube for everyone to see. The map is of course also provided for everyone to download for free.

Oh it is a 24/7 server You'll be able to log in to the server outside of the official building times when it's up, but it will only be running the regular maps, including white list and all mods. Currently I'm setting up everything for the coming weekend, so it's going to be down until Friday most likely.

Small technical issue, I'm moving the deadline to 22:00 CET tonight. Recording will stop on Monday night at 18:00 CET instead of Sunday night, so that gives us a few extra hours.

Also keep checking the first post, I update it a lot. It's an easy way to check if my server is running or not, and if so, what's currently running on it.

Small update on the video, I currently have 24.6 GB of footage to compress into different videos. This is going to take a while...

Thanks to everyone who participated in completing project Pandora. I'm surprised how quickly and smoothly this project finished, and hope to do this again Everyone was in good spirits, and the whole project turned out to be more than just a success.

Next weekend is bad for me, so I'll set the next project to start on Friday, 25. November 2011 at 18:00 CET.

The voting is on. What will next week's project be? Post interesting ideas, and we'll vote off on what to do in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately I'll have to cancel this weekend as well. I'm still waiting for all of the mods and plugins to be updated to MineCraft 1.0.0. The server is currently running MineCraft Beta 1.8.1

Here are some ideas on what builds we could do once the server is ready. Please contribute your own ideas so we have a good collection to vote for.

Abstract City

This involves building these huge floating "capsules", each containing a very futuristic looking city. Most likely we'll build one main capsule, and a few smaller ones to save time.

Tree City

Build a huge tree, and then start building old-fashioned houses in it.

Roller Coaster

Together we will build the longest roller coaster known by Notch.
