I have finally managed to build a "scrolling tv" in Minecraft.

I have a pic of it attached, I'm not sure what I'd use to do a video capture of my game to post it on youtube, but I'm glad I finally got it working.

The jist of it is pretty simple: You have four columns of pistons, kind of in this pattern:



Where the direction the arrow is pointing is the direction of the piston.

You apply power vertically using redstone torches, and then you use a inverter circuit to keep them off until the power comes through to them, since they're naturally in the on state. Then you have a clock, and you take two opposing clock ends (meaning ones that aren't adjacent to each other timing wise, I used a four-piston clock for this) and then you wire the inverters from two opposite piston columns to each one.
