Hello, Im modeling some buildings for FPS x10. The model consist of many pieces and when uv's are layed out and mesh combined. I think I will have to have like a 4k map just to have a decent resolution of the textures. Should the pieces be imported seperatly and assembled in FPS or is it better to be a combined mesh with large texture map?

I think it would be better if they were imported separately. That's what Kravenwolf did with his cabins and they work well in separate pieces. Plus, you could make texture variations on out side walls and roofs, etc, that way, you could add variety with the same model - just mix and match the different textures.
