I recently purchased Realm Crafter of TGC on Saturday. I noticed payment dint go though (acording to the order history) so i canccalled in hope of it working again. To my dismay, even though i cancalled (it says that the option to cancall is only available if the funds did not clear) the money was taken out! (realm crafter is not cheap, with tax i paid £75) so i was hoping that all this would be okay and today it would be cleared and i can download my software! BUT TO NO ONES SURPRISE TGC have not sent me a download link! my bank told me today that the money has been debited so where in blue jeans is my Realm Crafter or my money?

This is having a rather big effect on my stress level.

anyone feel they can keep me from punching my pc, feel free to comment.

By the way i know that their is no realmcrafter forum on here, seeing TGC just sell it for those people who make it, so please dont shout at me!

thanks for listening to my TGC Rant. Still love them though, just answer my support email and get me the link, waiting all weekend is hard emough let alone more days.

It's probably just down to how TGC operate. The money is sent via an automated system, I think it's an outsourced system too. Then the actual orders themselves are processed manually and TGC is quite a small team of people and are actually unavailable at the weekend, hence they say it may take up to 72hours to process when purchased over the weekend. So as they're done manually instead of an automated system it's quite possible the right member of staff isn't available at the moment - it's one of the downsides of being a member of a small team. They tend not to be unreliable, but if you've contacted them by e-mail, they should get back to you. If your email is missed, it's always worth keep trying to contact them.

TGC isn't the kind of company who's likely to try and screw you over and if you've paid for it you'll get it(and it should be possible to prove the money went out of your account and that they received it).

Took about 3 days for me to get the Winter Sale, even though the money pretty much went straight out. So there shouldn't be anything to stress over, it means you're getting the product later than you might have expected, but you're not going to be down £75, TGC aren't PayPal.

You're complaining because you didn't get a reply over the weekend? What makes you think TGC is any different to so many other companies with small support/order helpdesks? Generally, they are not open on the weekend.

Just wait. It seems like you know TGC well enough to know that you will get the product, and very soon too, so stress less.

You cancelled, so no download.

You just need to wait for the refund process to take place, and as they don't work over the weekend, they will have looked into it today at the very earliest.

You'll get your money, but it may take a day or two - just chill.

Let's just not miss the important and blood boiling fact that practically everywhere on the planet, taking money from you is instant, while "the refund process" is up to a quite freely determined time period.

Right at this moment, millions of dollars are in somebody else's hands, taken temporarily from the real owner of that money. This is not just unacceptable, but if you think about it, during that time, those couple companies can practically do whatever they want with these funds, and maybe with some risk, double the money.

I once fell into a nice "up to 60 days" trap of Paypal.
They used up all the 60 days all right... i was so happy i could get a couple penalty fees here and there while my money was unaccessable by the fault, of Paypal.

Quel, in TGC's case it's because they outsource the payment process to WorldPay, which uses an automatic system but they can't offer refunds through that as it'd be too easy to abuse. Instead, they have to manually approve downloads and refunds so it'll take a bit longer.

while it seems your stress level has been reduced, i would still punch your pc, if i were you. maybe 3-4 times, just to make sure it learns the lesson. you know, because it (the stress) was your pc's fault, and all. maybe give it a back-kick or, heck... why not drop it off the roof? give it something to remember, is what i'm saying. that way it won't happen again. ever.
