Hi everyone, as you may (or not) know, ADG is celebrating their first anniversary on the 17th of November (which also happens to be my birthday ), and for that reason we want to spoil you guys n girls with some great prizes!
But, in order to win some of those amazing prizes, we want you to do something in return for us.
Don't worry, it's not hard to accomplish or you don't need to be the chosen one. Heheheh.
All that we ask of you, is to create the most amazing ADG wallpaper possible. That's it.
Of course, there are some rules to comply. Here they are:

TASK:
- Create the best looking wallpaper related to ADG (and game making). Any 2D or 3D program can be used.

RULES:
- The wallpaper must be either in .png, or .jpg format. No bitmap (.bmp)!
- Image size must be 1440x960 (best suited to crop/resize for multiple resolutions).
- 1024x768 is also allowed for judging (and winning), but the author will be asked to make a final 1440x960 version.
- The 'Sofachrome' font must be used to write the letters ADG! It can be downloaded here on this post (at the bottom).
- The wallpapers must be signed by the author (right-hand corner).
- No copying or using of someone elses images! Creations must be your own work!
- Multiple entries per contestant are allowed, but only one prize per winner.

DEADLINE:
- Submissions must be posted on the official ADG wallpaper thread (which is HERE) by 00:00HRS 1st of January 2012 (BEFORE New Year).

JUDGING:
- Judging will be done by the ADG administrators, and their decision IS final.
- Winners will be announced 1st of February 2012.

Now, for the prizes:

I made a quick wallpaper example to give you all an idea of what can be done. Of course, let your imagination run wild.

I would like to thank everyone who offered a prize for the contest, as well as everyone else who participated in getting the contest a fact.

Finally, here is the Sofachrome font to be used for the 'ADG' letters.

Good luck to all!

How are you all doing? Hope to see some great artistic entries.
And remember, remaining prizes go to the ADG administrators.
So, I'd suggest you give it a go.

Good luck!

Just a quick question regarding this Halley, meant in the spirit of the competition and the forums. Are they already members of TGC forum? I wouldn't consider it fair to bring in "Ringers". No offence intended, it's just that there are some nice prizes here donated by forum members for forum members.

Just in case you didn't understand "Ringers":
冒名顶替者,特别是一谁在竞争中误传他们的身分或能力为了胜过。 最初使用在赛马,当一匹快速的马用一更慢一个被替代了,期限现在适用于在竞争中输入的所有运动员用不实理由。

Translated from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sports_idioms#R

Hope that makes sense? Seriously I mean no offence.

Attention: we changed/altered the resolution requirements for the ADG wallpaper a bit.

1440x960 (which is most suited to easily crop/resize for multiple resolutions) is allowed and 1024x768 (see note).

Note: entries of which the resolution is already set at 1024x768 will be allowed for judging (and winning), but the author will be asked to make a final wallpaper of 1440x960 (because of easier cropping/resizing to multiple resolutions).

Sure, why not.

Good luck!
