i am very familiar with that chart and me being an enthusiast of powerful notebooks when i can afford to, that chart is the best sourse of detaild on mobile GPUs i have!

I came across a 2.4" thick laptop yesterday that had:

i7-990X Extreme 3.46GHz
24GB ram
2 x NVIDIA 580M 2GB (SLI)
600GB sata2 SSD
2 x 1TB HDD (raid 1)
Bluray burner


For just over $6k. Oh, that doesn't include the cost of Windows either. Check out Malibal, they have beastie laptops. This one still had other upgrades that could make it even more still!

Was it by any chance a D900F Laptop? if so, its an awesome laptop. I have a last generation D900C Its not too special by todays standards but its still the most powerful and awesome laptop i ever had.
