Hey guys,
Its omegamer again.

I'm currently developing a new game called "Apocalyptic" and its playing in a post-apocalyptic scenario.
Well I dont have very much yet but even if I just startet on the first map I really want to show it off (epic patience)

Well I will update this first post ASAP I just want some feedback on the screenies and if you like them








(Sorry again I will add more information on this post ASAP I just need some feedback on these screens and if you like the style)

even if no one uses more white light than me in my project, i would choose some more darker colors for this. some kind of dark sepia, poison-green, fogblue or something like this.

big white lights always look like daylight, especially on the second screen.

third screenie gives a nice atmosphere.

Yeah I see, maybe I can make it better by making the light smaller?

Thank you, in a few days I'll post new screens but in the meantime I could need someone for the statushud since I want to add merchants in the levels, so a gruny but not to decorative HUD showing the health and the money the player has.
I can do the scripting but not the HUD GFX

This looks nice. Good level design so far, as well as the lighting. I agree with what Maho said in that you should stay away from white lights if you can. Try 222222 for a dark grey which, if the range is big enough, can look really nice. I have a couple more. Also, if you want lighting tips i suggest sending Bugsy an email. He uses a lot of great lights in his game(s). Im guessing he could tell you a couple of them
