I haven't posted any WIP for a while as I'm working on quite a large project that is taking about 90% of my spare time but I have had time to start another small project which I'm still in the early stages of.

I thought I'd share Gadgyt. He's an adaptable little chap who's stuck inside an old computer somebody left running in their attic back in the 80's. An AI is trying to take over the system that has been running for over 30 years. Gadgyt (an early Anti-Virus program) must try to stop this AI and save the system from being completely locked down.

Controls: Designed to work with Mouse / touchscreen but some keys are available to test Gadgyt's abilities.
Mouse / touch to move gadgyt
keys 1-4 to change mode

Wheels - touch left side of screen to drive left / right to drive right
Jetpack - touch where to fly to
Bubble - touch to bounce in that direction
Gun - touch to shoot

I have a lot of ideas for little gadgyt but I'm also open to suggestions

Did I mention he can drive on the ceiling and walls too?

I know it's a very small world and demo at the moment but I've been working ideas for this project in my head for about 6 months and I'm excited that so far it works just as I imagined!

very nice baxslash.
movement is very smoth and physics is great (I assume you've used the box2d functionality for this).
seems like a promising demo; I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job of fleshing it out.

I love the story, and the demo is very cool. I look forward to seeing progress on this app.

Interesting game idea, bax!
The story sounds great, and is rather original, I think.
Just curious, what kinda puzzles/traps do you have in mind for this?
I also like the smooth movement and physics of Gadgyt.

Looking forward to see more.

Hi The Slayer, I'm thinking of some tricky physics based puzzles. Mainly the game will be skill based and there will be lots of bad guys to defeat.
