I can handle about 1,000,000 with no characters. I get a 30 fps

What about you? I need to know my limits!

It was a long time since I looked at that number but I think about 100000 or something (with a few characters)

Is there no culling system in FPSC, or how the hell do you achieve a scene containing a milion polygons without any characters?..

-Mental Hybrid: A unique heavy story based shoot'em ~40% (primary project)
-CoreFleet: An underground commander unit based RTS (canned) ~15%

There is, they use the built in portal culling system.

Check the GameFX help files in DarkBasic Pro for it.

It'd help to know what texture sizes are being used, as well as details such as lighting, shading etc., since otherwise the numbers are pretty much meaningless.
