As promised, I did a *something* for you, although I don't understand what's going on either. *shrugs*
And now I also prepared some behind-the-scenes stuff:
This is a little sketch I did yesterday, before going to bed. I posted those other sketches I 'copyied' from the show in the MLP thread yesterday, and even though I had the Rainbow Dash sketch stuck in my head, I didn't look at it while sketching this one... still, came out as about the same pose. The whole thing probably took 20-30 minutes, plus the same time today to imrove certain parts. Then I took the above (crappy) photo and fired up GIMP at about 21:20 local time

I got the most basic shapes down, oh and that 'fade to white' thing was just for the screenshot. Oh and at the bottom you can see my Firefox, I wanted to read all those EqD posts later

Shapes are done for now, might've tweaked some parts after this, but then I started adding the actual lines & colors.

Put down the basic lines and colors. Yes that's 33 layers.
As I finish this part, my mind starts to scream "Doooo the eyeees! You suck at doing the eyes! They will look horrible, and take too long!" I ignore that and continue with the mane/tail highlights (colors).

I'm actually pretty much done at midnight! The outcome of 2:40h GIMP can be seen at the top of the post. I rushed through the whole thing, if I had taken several days like with my previous pony [the one I posted in the MLP-thread] (which by the way was my first real 'artwork' I've ever done. This is the second one.
) the proportions, shading and background (nah not the background ._.) would've been better; but I am myself surprised how
FAST I was able to do this, and how it is
NOT screwed up
Some things I wanted to note: I added the time of the screenshots when saving the screenshot file, I have not looked at what the windows clock in them says. And yes her cutie mark is missing, I didn't feel like adding that thing, even though I tried to do a bigger sketch of it to add it. That's why there's an ugly 'sparkle' thingy at the below the sketch.
Things I don't like about the picture: The proportions, the shading, the eye (looks like she's gonna cry while being very angry. What the hay is going on in that picture? We shall never know.), the background.
I like the colors because I took them directly from the show
Edit: I just realized I totally like the teeth, too. Those look nice.
