Let's say I have just released "Killer Game v1.0", and the user's high-scores will be saved with it. I release an update to v1.1. If my users update, will their high-scores be maintained across the update?

EDIT: On Windows, it would depend on the installer chosen. I'm wondering more or less on iOS devices. I guess this would apply to Android as well.

Hi there. My name is Dug. I have just met you, and I love you.

the default filestore area for each app is unique to a given application - it you keep the same key and name for an app - and just let the appstore handle an update then any save games as such should still all be in the same place.

This goes for windows and mac as well - the default filestore area is controlled by the interpreter - and should be consistent regardless of where the actual app is installed.
