To be 100% honest, I'm not a fan of the name "Carnage Productions". It's too generic and screams, "I am probably new to game development and I am probably younger than 16!!". Pick something unique, something with some personal value or anything to stick out from the rest. I would prefer to see a fake company name of "Stinky Potatoes" than "Carnage Productions".
As for the logo, pretty much everything everyone else already mentioned. A logo has to have some relevance to the name and all I see is the explosion which honestly still doesn't match too well. If you do decide to stick with your current name then pick something directly related to carnage. For example, when I think of carnage I think blood, so maybe try a simple design like "Carnage Productions" spelled out to look like blood with some drips or something. I know that's not too original, but a logo shouldn't be a bunch of random pictures slapped together (like it is now). Also, adding the photoshop blending effects (unless used correctly) usually makes the logo worse.
