They've made great products in the past,
Fps Creator, Fpsc X10, Dark Basic, DBPro, 3D Game maker, My Doodle Game, etc.

What will TGC make next?

Tell me what you guys think

I'd love to see something RTS based. FPS they have covered, and there's tons of RPG maker type programs out there, that only leaves RTS to round out the power trio.

Basically I want to make a Homeworld game

A coffee making app linked to coffee machine... and a parrallel app that makes tea for us brits with two types of variables... milk and sugar with quantity variables... milk being a float for ml values and sugar being integers for one or two or three plus cubes or spoons of sugar...*

An RTS drag and drop would work just like FPS Creator.

...This isn't a compliment.

Okay, i don't want to be rude to TGC at all, they gave me DBPro which i'm on since day one.

But i guess even they can see what's the problem around here: TGC is not such a high profile company which could sufficiently handle all these software. They should run 2 big things, at max, and that's it.

It would be awesome, a strong, heavily supported DBPro with always up to date graphical capabilities and efficiency (and carefully managed, official plugin list), and maybe something for the non-coding people, like FPS Creator, i wouldn't care really, if i need something, i code it anyways.

But this mess around here is barely acceptable.

...and damn, there are people begging for more! Let me just virtually kick you all in the butt with my boots that looks like a checkmark wrapped in what seems to be the gay flag.

-Mental Hybrid: A unique heavy story based shoot'em ~40% (primary project)
-CoreFleet: An underground commander unit based RTS (canned) ~15%

guys... dbp, dbc, fpsc, fpscx10, while still officially supported, have long been stagnating. They're done products. TGC's milked them for what they're worth and for the most part, theyre as stable and feature-filled as need be (though I wish they were more stable )

Best for all of us to focus on AppGameKit, which is the new and heavily updated product that TGC will be focused on for a long time. It will very likely replace DBP in the next couple years. Why would TGC continue to support DBP

*this is the ramblings of a crazy-man. I do not in any way speak for TGC and their vision may be different than how "I sees it".

Id like to see a bug free FPSC and working multiplayer. Love using FPSC but multiplayer does not work well and I would really like to use that feature.

Besides AppGameKit, I think a Racing Creator would be kinda cool...

And what about Realm Crafter ? Didn't TGC made that ? I don't hear people talking about that too much...

While I agree with you about DBC and FPSCx10, I'm fairly sure that DBP and FPSC are still both very much in development.

Lee has said recently that the 7.7 beta is going to be finalised soon; and a new beta update was released today for FPSC.

(No disrespect intended, Mr President sir )

>Edit<
To stay on Topic, I'd quite like to see DBP v2.0 released with support for newer os' and DirectX 11 and possibly things like Windows integration (Like Blue or BBB_Gui built in); as well as 3D AppGameKit with Linux and Win7 Mobile support.

Lol TGC did not make Realm Crafter. If they did I'm sure Realm Crafter would work or at least be in a better state lol RC standard has been dropped as well by the orginal dev and they are only working on RC Pro. We have herd rumors on RC forums that RC standard will now or soon be free. Which really ticked off a lot of us who payed 150 bucks for the engine. Sadly the engine does not work as advertised ethier. I belive the creator of RC is Siro or however he spells his ID.

Yeah! I was looking into Realm Crafter and I haven't found anything "good". No large active community, no goodlooking game projects (they all where rather sterile) and not much support in terms of content.

About a year ago there was talk about an fps game maker for younger audiences, claimed to be 99% complete. There was even a request from Rick for tutorial videos from competent fpsc users.

That would be awesome except for the fact that FPS Creator would have to be converted to C# and XNA. Especially considering how rocky DarkGDK.NET is(last I checked) compared to DarkGDK and DBPro.

If only dreams could come true lol Switchig to C# would be amazing switch and likely the best route but I dought their going to give up on their "flagship".
