I'm a supporter of the way they're going about browser support. I looked at istencyl which uses html5 and it was wayyy too slow for my project, so I went back to AppGameKit because I know it's fast enough for most 2d applications.

THIS ^^

And the browser support is very interesting... I would have thought HTML5 was plug-in-less though no?

Since they're using java, you'll need java. With native html5/javascript they found not all browsers supported. I suspect that on some that worked, it was slow. I dunno though, the details are limited in their message I'm glad they're concerned about speed though, that's important to me.

Agreed, Performance should be priority and besides... most systems have Java these days anyway... and its required for a lot of things... I am not against the Java decision though just wanted to point it out...

AGK for Browsers
Thats great to output to something that can be used on a web page.

Id like to see browsers 'within' AppGameKit, so we can display a web page 'inside' a project, if you did that you could take all the business from programs like phonegap, that would grow your user base quite considerably.

Took a few weeks to get to it, but it was a nice read. I don't think I'd want to eat a badger, however.
