Hello!

Basically for an RTS I'm making to add buildings like a tank factory ect. I'm making structures under construction neutral AI and telling bulldozers to "attack" it. when it is in attacking range (next to it) it will add health to the building. the system works except for one thing. if the building is out of range/fog of war it won't go to it. yet I don't want to set it's view rang to something height. yet it won't go even though I add it to it's target list. I tried setting the building to it's ideal zone. and it will go there. but when it gets there it lost the target on the list. ideas? I'm sure I can make it work, but I want to ask in case I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks much

first try truning on the console device.

AI Set Console Output On Entity Number

then see what the entity is upto.

You may find that you need to rotate the object so that its facing the way the AI thinks it facing.

Hope this helps.

if on a 64bit OS

these are the default install paths

HowDo is referring to

open the DarkAI.chm file...
on the left double click "Commands"
and then double click "Debug"
scroll down and its the two near the bottom of the list above "AI SHOW ERRORS"

[you can also single click the "+" , "-" signs next to the headings.

hope this was clear and helped
