I bought Dark Game Studio A couple of weeks ago and recently decided to give it a go, unfortunately I can't. Everytime I try to install DarkBasicPro or any of the addons(DarkShader, AI, Physics, etc) I get "The installShield Engine (iKernal.exe) failed to launch. Class not registered" Error.

I've been at it for hours googling and searching and doing every trick in the book to get it to work.

Specs(If they help):
Core i5 2400
Gskill Ripjaw DDR3 1333mhz
Amd HD6870
Windows 7 64Bit.

It's a fresh install of windows(A few days old) and it's only these things that get the error message.

Starting to seem like I was just scammed out of $50.
Can someone tell me how to fix it?

EDIT: Installing Dark basic Pro from the disc finally decided to work, don't know what I did though.
Definitely fixed itself for some reason, Close the topic or whatever.

Hi guys im having the same problem except that i only have DarkBasic Pro,I don't have Dark Game Studio like the OP.

I don't have a disk just digital download.

The file is DarkBASIC_Professional_Online_54_90.zip if that helps,im guessing its version 5.4?

I did try installing as ADMIN but no luck.

I have Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Processor 3.0ghz
4GB of G.SKILL PI Black DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series video card w/ 1gig ram

Thank you in advance for the help.
