My buddy bought a 1000 dollar computer and gave me his old one. It wasn't anything special, it had 1.6ghz dual core processor, 4 gigs of ram, and a graphics card with a fan that doesn't even spin. So on my incredibly limited budget, I'm talking 25 dollar budget, I actually was able to get a 2.8ghz dual core processor and Radeon 4350 1gig ddr3 for a total of 21 bucks!!! I found that to be a good deal, both a graphics card and processor for 21 bucks total.

It's far from a super computer obviously but given I'm not a huge gamer it's fantastic for me. It cost me a whole 21 dollars for computer with 4gb ram, 2.8ghz dual core processor, and radeon 4350 1gb gfx card. I can't even begin to describe how incredibly stoked I am about this.

This is now my 6th computer, the first 5, regardless of how decent the computers were, all failed me horribly. I'm giving this computer 3 days for it to blow up because that's just how it works for me... But that's 3 days I've never had before! So I'm quite stoked. But seriously, I'm hoping I can at least get a couple years strong out of this computer. I just got a new job at Home Depot, so over time I'll be able to build up a little savings and eventually get something very nice.

But for now I'm just at a minimum hoping this computer can get me through this semester of college as I have a RIDICULOUS amount of homework, and having never had my own computer made it incredibly difficult to do lol.

Now for a happy face spam

I'm confused...

At any rate, congrats! It may not be a powerhouse, but it will get the job done!

I should have elaborated more when I said this is my 6th computer.... the previous 5 did not work. They were all a few years old and worked fine for the previous owner for the most part, but every time I turned them on, they broke within the first week. I tried replacing parts in them, but something else would break every time.

I replaced some parts in this computer and am already having issues naturally. I have the worst luck imaginable when it comes to computers, however it's by far fastest computer spec wise and the best running to begin with. I've never had a computer that could turn on a game basically. This one just let me play Mass Effect 2 on medium-high settings at an incredible rate.

I wouldn't even try to run a PC in that state. If it keeps breaking down, maybe you are doing something wrong? Not saying anything, just checking I have seen stuff like that before. Good luck with the PC anyways.

This computer has never broken down, it's just the video card. Runs perfectly fine and having no problems with it at all There is a new video card in it of course.
