Came across a recommendation to this site,
http://www.sodaplay.com, in the latest issue of MAXIMUM PC. I've been playing around with the constructor for the last half hour, and I think it's a blast. I believe a lot of people here would find this interesting, and create more amazing 'masses and springs models' than myself, or that are currently featured on the site.
Cheers!!! Now get building!!! =)

Sodaconstructor ~ Sodaconstructor is a construction kit for interactive creations using masses and springs. By altering physical properties like gravity, friction, and speed, curiously anthropomorphic models can be made to walk, climb, wriggle, jiggle, or collapse into a writhing heap.

If you thought playing with Lego bricks was an exercise in engineering, you ain't seen nothing yet. Sodaplay features a variety of applets that are as much physics simulators as games. If you think you've got what it takes, go to Sodaplay.com and get building.
