AppGameKit Classic Chat / Compiler error?

Just downloaded the free version to try it out, but whenever I try to compile it says the compiler can't write to the folder and that it needs administrator level privileges. Then I go and set the compiler to run as an administrator, and it just says

Execution of 'AGKCompiler.exe main.agc' in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\AGKTrial\Projects\Basic\firsttest' failed.

Am I missing something basic here?

You probably installed into Program Files. Uninstall it and install it somewhere else, like c:\AGK
