Hello,

If I create a dll which involves directx sdk usage, which version of DirectX SDK should I use ? August 2007 SDK (as in case of Dark GDK) or the latest June 2010 SDK will be fine ?

Please clarify.

Thanks,

Basically you should stick with the same version used by whatever you are interfacing with - that's August 2006 for DBPro.

I'll take your word for what the pre-compiled GDK uses, but if you compile the GDK yourself, then you can also safely use June 2010.

Hello Ian,

Thank you for your clarification. So August 2006 SDK is the one to go with and not August 2007 one.

Thanks,
