Indeed!! One thing that's wonderful about being a geek is that there are always plenty of other geeks to become friends with, another way of putting is that there are more people that would make good friends with you that will make friends with you!

When I first started programming computer games, a computer was a swear word. Nobody would touch them. I wrote a version of Monopoly in space, and sent it to the company that owned the rights to Monopoly the board game. They sent back a letter saying that computer games would never take over from board games. So when I was a geek, I was one of the few. Nowadays, to be a geek is almost a common occurrence.

But yeah I miss Beijing so much it almost kills me... I should be back there later this year shame we did not know each other on my... 5th? visit to Beijing last year...

Geek or Guru, we decide, that's the difference

Well im creating my own gaming console, so far its development name is the 'Basic Binary Box' though that may change when i sell it... It will be designed to make it very easy for beginners to learn to program and make their own games!

Here in England it's not that easy to find a job as we have a high unemployment rate at the moment. However, I don't know what the situation is like in America, I know they owe China some money so if you can convince your government to write it off then I'm sure the American government would be happy to offer you a job (probably as a negotiator).

Humour aside, I think it's worth giving it a shot if it's what you want to do. See what work is available where you're moving to.
