As soon as you can get an font file (.ttf or any other PC-compatible font) or an image containing all the characters, then you can.

Okay I tried but I can't get it to work.
It exports a png, but the text file does not look right.

Are there any alternative Font Designer for Mac that can be used with AppGameKit?

My problem is that the custom font image I have now does not work on my iPad.
So I read that I should make it 128x128 or 256x256 or 512x512 or 1024x1024
So I did that but that did not help cause the txt file no longer can be used i guess.
I did not alter the txt file.

I downloaded the tool and quickly created a very nice font for my game.

It creates both the files needed for loading a font into an AppGameKit app using 'SetTextDefaultFontImage'.

Hubdule gets major thumbs up for this app, and for providing it for free.

Its not for Mac but thats okay for now.
