I have just released Little Eggy (AGK), a casual action/arcade game for iPhone and iPod Touch. The title and characters in the game are based off of the original PC game that I released five years ago (DBP), but the game itself is entirely new.

FREE for a limited time (regular $0.99).

...you must carefully navigate your way through endless waves of platforms and hazards as you plummet towards inescapable death. If you fall too far before landing on a platform or are unable to transcend from a platform quick enough, you're gonna crack! Along the way, watch out for an increasing number of springs, spikes, saws, lasers and other obstacles. The longer you survive the faster you will have to scramble to avoid the inevitable.

Major Features

7 unique and increasingly challenging worlds (good luck reaching the later worlds!)
10 different eggy characters derived from the original Little Eggy game
A variety of enemies, dangerous collectibles and powerups
Randomized levels, collectibles and and hazards every time
Game Center enabled so you can see just how your eggy compares to the rest
Optimized for retina display (iPhone 4+, iPod Touch 4+)

Well made game and nice trailer.

You will earn quite much on it. (Also because it's grab&play)

Best of luck

Well done, one of the best AppGameKit apps so far! I just posted news of it in the AppGameKit Facebook group.

Just found a small bug in the menu on my iPhone.

When you go to options and change the egg, after 5 clicks the app dies.

Thanks for the comments guys. Rick, I've tried to duplicate the error but can't seem to do so on my iPod Touch 3/4 or iPad. Will play around with it more later when I have a little time. Cheers.

I've been playing this a lot. It's a really simple, fun and addictive game. Well done!

Plays great on the iPod Touch 4G.

I just installed it.

I can see spending lots of time trying get farther.

It definitely has an addictive look.

Congrats!

One suggestion - allow separate options for sounds and music.

In most games, I generally want the sound affects, but not the background music.

xCept, I have a couple of questions.

The first is did you make this in Tier 1 or Tier 2?

If it was in Tier 1, how do you recognize that the app has been sent to the background so that it starts up fresh when clicked on in the app menu again?

Thank you.

Hi, I wrote this game in Tier 2. In Xcode, it is easy to prevent applications from running in the background by adding the key: UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend to the info.plist and setting its value to True.

Thank you very much. That is the information I was looking for.

EDIT: And it works great with Tier 1 as well. Thank you!

Cheers,
