^I consider the episodes to be the 2 1/2 part of half-life. I would think they would get episode 3 out before half-life 3, although, I wouldn't be surprised if the 3rd episode is the full game. Not sure what ol Gabe is up to... Portal 2 episode 1, perhaps?

I dunno. I didn't think they had anounced anything other than: hang in there. There will be more Gordan Freeman. I personally hope they do an episode 3 and then do something of a fresh start with HL3 and not just make it a direct continuance. Sort of what they did from 1 to 2.
