I read in the newsletter that AppGameKit v107 is available but have been unable to find where I can download it.

The new features sound great.

I suspect that it is not yet available
Quote: "Half way through March we realised we had added so many commands that a March release would have risked stability, so we have given ourselves April to refine the commands, bolster the documentation and test the new command set."

So they are adding a lot of commands, and of course this require a lot of additional time for testing and regression.
Anyway, as soon as the 107 shall be released, I suppose that it shall be available for download under "Your products" in your TGC account, if you have bought the community edition (as I did).
I agree that it is an already very cool product with version 1065, but now with the new commands, the product MUST become a top seller. Lee, Paul and others are really smart guys, and their products deserve a lot of success.

I misread. I think you are right. Release date is sometime in April.

Giving exact time of release would be... missaccurate.

All we know is that it should but doesn't have to be released somewhere during April.

I read that as they are finishing off during April, for a release at some point after April?

I suggest you guys to calm down, it's 5th April. It might aswell be released on 28th of April, or 25th of April, or 1st May.

Who knows?

There's no need to continously bump this thread I think.

Yea you wish that is more then agk is getting by it self. You be lucky to get a few bucks from an app today because of the compition. Even if your game is a smash hit it would seem from what I have seen from a moderate popular game you would earn not even close to the hundreds of millions.

(price*licenses-sold)-investment=profit

(10*300)-200=2800

You'd be lucky to sale 300 though with the capabilities of AppGameKit, or lack there of.

107 is important because it will change the way the order of the sprites are drawn, so its useless to start new projects, as it will involve a lot of re-testing.

Greenster, AppGameKit is ideal for small simple casual game projects, made just for fun & amusement. That's what I want to do myself, FREE apps.
