Okay so it has the choice to download it and get a backup cd but I'm wondering what format the download comes in? Is it in a .exe or iso? Also if its in a .exe would it still be able to erase all contents on my computer and do a fresh install of windows 7? Thanks...

Yoh burn it to a DVD using the .iso file...

In short... you need to burn it... or check out what that slow guy linked to... he was so slow that I managed to post after him... oh the irony...
