Not yet available but here is a preview I guess.

I noticed there is one weapon. It happens to be in the left hand but there are no hands showing. Will there be hands upon completion? Since just about everything now has hands, I would think this is imperative.

Flatlander

The new Model Pack looks quite interesting but I must disagree with you about the 'hands' being used on all weapons.
I too have a new Model Pack looming on the horizon which has a few melee weapons available but I too have not supplied hands for the weapons because I think they are too personal.
For instance, if someone wanted to make a game with a 'female' lead character then they would be stuck with weapons with 'male' hands attached which is useualy the case for most FPSC weapons nowdays.
I did not supply hands for my Pack because I personaly like weapons without hands (Retro style).

Anyways, this Pack (61) looks as if it has other things going for it as well.

No offence but is it just me or is the textures kinda lacking? Looks to be a great start thoe.

To mer it looks like shader-ready textures in a game without activated shaders.

But quite interesting

I don't know who the author is. TGC is the one who put this on youtube and so I had gotten an email regarding it. I thought that some would be interested and possible make comments before he/she releases it.

I can understand about the hands/no hands question. Because I haven't a clue as to how to provide my own (created) hands to a model, I like the fact that they are there. If one should create a game that has several weapons included and some have hands and some do not, I'm not sure that is any good either.

BTW, Ross tra damus, I'm looking forward to your future model packs.

I seem to have an obsession with purchasing all the model packs available.

Not saying its a bad pack looks great but just a few textures on some of the models looks off to me. and could be a shader thing as you said flatlander.

I have to agree with GreenDixy.
The pack has great potential, but the quality is somewhat lacking, especially for an official MP.

I can already think of many great uses for this pack, and it contains some things that I would definitely use. There is a big lack of SciFi MPs around the place.
Thankyou to the author

I agree with GreenDixy about the textures, they seem a bit haphazard, but generally it looks like it has great potential but needs a little work.. That said, like Flatlander I also seem obsessed with buying all the model packs so who knows..

As for hands, I agree both with Flatlander and Ross de Damas just to be awkward. I like hands, but they do make the weapons less universal, however, I really don't like it when the weapon has no hands and it's obvious, for me, weapons that float look too odd to be of use. If a weapon has no hands, it should look as if they are off screen IMO.
