I guess we cannot but I ask anyway.
Is it possible to have both versions installed at the same time.

Just in case my older projects will not work on 1.071

I am not one hundred percent sure, but I think that you can have both versions at the same time. Unless AppGameKit makes any libraries in, say, windows/system32 which vary between versions.

Just try and you'll know probably.

Not sure about T2 but in T1 you can keep a copy of the IDE folder and the AGK.exe and swap between with no problem at all.

I can confim that in T2 you can have both versions at the same time. Just keep them in separate folders.

For me its for Tier 1

Okay I tried to install but the installer give me three options. Modify, Repair and Remove.
So I guess I can't have both versions installed at the same time.

For T2 I have all AppGameKit versions names as different folders and then just rename the folder I need to AppGameKit to switch between versions!!! Takes only 5 seconds!!!!

Different directories for Tier1 versions should also work.

The tricky bit is making sure to keep your project source code and media files the same in both directory structures.

If the installer gives you Modify, Repair and Remove, which one should be chosen?

B.t.w. My games works fine in 1.071 so I don't think its an issue for me anyway!

This seems to work for me...

Backup your work.

Install 1065, rename the install directory after installation is finished. (or if you already have 1065 installed, just rename it.)

Run 1071 installer select remove (it won't remove 1065 because the directory has been renamed) but installer will think it has been removed.

Install 1071.

Yeah, except when you need to test on a device.
